당구박사 클럽이름으로 출전하여 3위에 입상했습니다

대회 전날인 27일 토요일 밤 10시에 대회장인 구슬치기당구클럽에 가서 27점 동호인과 두 게임을 쳤습니다. 두번째 게임은 24대 27로 역전패 했는데 평소 당구박사 클럽에서 레슨을 하다보니 나보다 높은 점수의 상대와 쳐 볼 기회가 없어서 이번 역전패는 약이 되었습니다.

1차전 14:14 (승부치기에서 0:1로 승리 )

1차전 상대는 채널당구클럽에서 25점을 치는 동호인입니다. 핸디의 75%인 19점을 놓고 35이닝을 쳤는데 14대 14로 비겨서 승부치기를 쳤는데 상대가 초구를 놓쳤고 내가 초구를 득점하면서 힘겹게 1승을 했습니다. 초반부터 줄곧 내가 리드하고 있었는데 후반이 되면서 상대선수쪽으로 운이 옮겨가더니 14:13으로 역전 당했고 마지막 이닝에 1점을 쳐서 동점이 되어 버렸습니다. 상대 선수가 한숨을 쉬면서 승부치기에 들어갔는데 역시나 초구를 실패했고 내가 정확하게 득점해서 이겼습니다. 초구 연습의 중요성을 다시 한번 깨닫는 게임이었습니다. 첫 게임이 가장 힘들었던 것 같습니다.

2차전 19:8 (애버리지 0.731로 승리)

2번 테이블에서 2차전을 치렀는데, 상대는부전승으로 올라온 노블당구클럽의 24점 선수입니다. 어제 밤에 쳤던 7번 테이블로 안내를 받아서 느낌이 좋다고 생각하고 있었습니다. 그런데 부전승인데도 미리 와 있지 않았고 오는 중이라면서 다른 게임을 먼저 진행했습니다. 30분 정도 지난 후에 2번 테이블을 배정 받아 게임을 시작했는데 팔에는 용문신과 번쩍 거리는 금팔찌를 하고 있었습니다. 심지어 큐에도 자개로 용문양이 박혀 있었다는… 초반에 10:1로 리드를 했고 별다른 긴장감을 느낄 겨를도 없이 이겼습니다. 부전승으로 올라온 사람이었기에 힘들게 1차전을 이기면서 긴장의 끈을 늦추지 않았던 내게는 역으로 쉬운 상대였던 것 같습니다. 이것도 대회운이라고 봐야 겠지요…

3차전 14:14 (승부치기 4:2로 승리)

3차전 상대는 SJ당구클럽의 25점 젊은 동호인이었습니다. 이전 게임을 치는 것을 보았는데 상대를 더블스코어 이상으로 누르고 올라왔습니다. 초반부터 조심하자라고 생각하면서 쳤는데 초구 득점도 실패하면서 경기 내내 잘 풀리지 않았습니다. 리드 당했던 것을 결국 14대 14 동점으로 만들면서 분위기를 내쪽으로 가져 온 상태에서 승부치기에 들어갔습니다. 내가 먼저 4점을 쳤고 상대는 2점을 치면서 또한번 힘겨운 승리를 했습니다. 이 경기에서 관중들의 탄식이 많이 나왔습니다. 아마도 상대 선수를 응원하는 사람들이었던 것 같습니다. 유니폼까지 맞춰 입고… 꽤나 유망주였나 봅니다. 승부치기에서 4점을 치고 여유있게 앉아 있었는데 역시나 내가 이겼습니다.

4차전 17:16 (애버리지 0.486 승리)

4차전 상대는 나보다 1점 낮은 24점 동호인인데 백발이라서 노인인 줄 알았습니다. 초반부터 내가 5,6점 정도 리드하고 있었는데 후반에 야금야금 따라오더니 마지막 이닝에 3점을 치면서 16대 16 동점이 되었습니다. 후구인 내가 걸어치기를 성공하여 17:16이 되었고 성취율이 높은 내가 승리하여 본선 16강에 진출하게 되었습니다. 이로써 상금 10만원을 확보했습니다.

3시부터 본선 16강이 시작된다고 하여 밖에 나가서 편의점에서 간단하게 요기를 했습니다. 아침 9시부터 5시간 동안 실내에 있었더니 에어컨 때문에 한기도 느껴져서 햇볕이 그리웠습니다.

5차전(16강) 19:14 승리 (애버리지 0.655)

16강전 상대는 DS당구클럽의 25점 백발의 동호인이었습니다. 초구에 3점을 치는것이 아니겠습니까? 나는 1점에 그쳤지만 조심스럽게 경기를 운영했습니다. 결국 후반이 되자 내가 줄곧 리드를 하게 되었고 상대 선수의 한숨 소리가 내 귀에 많이 들려왔고 이겼구나 생각하게 되었습니다. 결국 29이닝에 19대 14로 이기면서 8강에 올라갔습니다.

6차전(8강) 19:16 (애버리지 0.95) 승리

이번 상대는 35점으로 이번 대회의 최고점자인 것 같습니다. 나의 선공으로 초구에 3득점하면서 좋은 출발을 한 것이 승리를 할 수 있었던 가장 큰 원인인 것 같습니다. 행운의 득점도 2개 정도 있었고, 레슨 회원 한 분이 응원까지 와줘서 멋진 모습을 보여주겠다고 생각하면서부터 더 꼼꼼하게 쳤는데 공격과 수비가 잘 맞아서 결국 19대 16으로 끝냈고 상대 선수가 후구 초구에 실패하면서 그대로 이겼습니다. 35점 답게 6점 하이런으로 따라왔지만 내가 다시 3점을 도망가면서 19점에 먼저 도달한 것이 상대의 추격 의지를 꺾었다고 생각됩니다.

7차전(준결승) 12:24 패배

초구 선공에 1점만 득점하면서 초반에는 팽팽하게 나갔는데 중반이 되면서 수비가 뚤리면서 리드를 당하게 되더니 만회하기가 어려웠습니다. 끝까지 포기하지 않고 한번의 기회만 와라!라고 생각하면서 쳤는데 두 번 정도 기회는 왔지만 살리지 못한데다가 수비에서도 실패하면서 그대로 패했습니다. 나의 실력과 운이 여기까지 였던 것 같습니다.

준결승 상대를 결승에서 만났더라면 좀 더 멋진 모습을 보여줄 수 있었는데 하는 아쉬움이 남습니다. 이번 경험을 통해 내 당구 스타일로 우승까지 가능하다는 것을 알았습니다. 연습을 좀 더 해서 다음 기회에는 우승을 거머 쥐겠습니다. 내게는 BPS가 있기 때문에 누구보다 효율적인 연습을 할 수 있으므로 충분히 가능합니다.

3개월 만에 애버리지 1.0 게임을 치게 되었네요. 너무 오랫만이네요.

당구박사의 9점 하이런 경기 영상입니다. 2이닝에 하이런 9점을 쳤지만 최종적인 애버리지는 0.78이었습니다. 아쉽네요. 좀 더 잘 칠 수 있었는데…

오랫만에 애버리지 1.0을 넘겼습니다. 잘 맞을 땐 운도 따르네요. 조금 더 잘 칠 수도 있었는데… 실수했던 배치 나중에 따로 연습해 봐야 할 것 같습니다.

어제 일요일아침에 집에서 가까운 오페라당구장을 가기로 마음먹고 집을 나왔습니다. 오페라당구장은 아침 6시에 문을 연다고 합니다. 사장님이 친절하고 부지런해서 예전에는 24시간 영업을 했었는데 코로나 영향으로 지금은 아침 6시에 오픈하는 것 같습니다. 오페라당구장은 버호벤대대가 6대가 있고 중대가 4대 있습니다. 버호벤대대 설치시 쿠드롱선수가 와서 이벤트 경기를 했다고 합니다. 평소 당구대를 가려서 치지는 않지만 당구장을 소개하는 사이트를 오픈하면서 당구대에 대한 관심을 새롭게 가지게 되었습니다.

오페라당구장에는 일요일 아침 8시 30분쯤에 갔습니다. 이렇게 이른 시간이라면 사장 혼자서 청소하고 있겠지하고 들어갔는데 이미 두 테일블이나 손님이 있었습니다. 사장님과 잠시 이야기를 하고 난 후 오페라사장님과 게임을 치게 되었습니다. 오페라당구장 사장님은 22점을 치는데 전자점수판을 켤 때 보이는 애버리지를 보니 0.35정도로 표시되고 있었습니다.

오페라당구장 사장님과의 게임은 내가 이겼습니다. 나는 지금까지 주로 정액제당구장 한 곳을 다녔기 때문에 다른 당구장의 요금제를 잘 모릅니다. 그런데 오페라당구장은 한 게임당 9천원인데 게임에서 진 사람이 요금을 내고 이긴 사람은 완전 무료입니다. 그러니 내가 지금 떠난다면 당구 한 게임을 공짜로 치고 가는 셈이되잖습니까? 왠지 친절한 사장님한테 미안한 생각이 들어서 다른 손님과 한 게임 더 붙여달라고 부탁을 했습니다. 게임비 9천원 정도는 떨어트리고 가려는 마음이었습니다.

오페라사장님이 옆테이블에 있는 아저씨와 게임을 붙여 주었는데 점수판을 보니 나와 같은 25점을 치고 있었고 애버리지가 0.6을 조금 넘기고 있었습니다. 애버리지는 나보다 조금 더 좋은 사람이었습니다. 순간 나는 살짝 긴장이 되었습니다. 사실 그동안 내가 다니던 정액제 당구장에서 내가 게임을 친 상대는 나보다 하점자가 대부분이었고, 게임에서 진 사람이 요금을 모두 내는 요금제에서는 승부에 집착할 것이므로 이기기 어려울 것이라는 생각을 가지고 있었기 때문이었습니다.

뱅킹에서 져서 상대가 초구를 먼저 쳤는데 초구를 너무나 빠르고 유연하게 득점하는 것에 놀랐습니다. 초구가 결코 쉽지않는데… 이어서 단쿠션 쪽에서의 빗겨치기도 매우 쉽게 득점을 하는 것을 보고 불안한 마음으로 2:0으로 출발을 했습니다. 상대 선수가 나이도 많지만 득점하는 과정이 너무 관록이 있어보여서 이기기 힘들겠다는 생각을 가지고 시작했는데 20이닝 정도가 되자 갑자기 상대의 태도가 의욕이 없어 보였습니다. 그러면서 키스도 많이내고 너무 성급히 치면서 아깝게 안 맞고 하는 과정에서 팽팽하는 점수가 내 쪽으로 기울기 시작했습니다.

30이닝이 지나자 점수는 10:20 정도로 벌어져 있었고 상대는 완전히 의욕을 상실한 것 처럼 무성의하게 치기 시작했습니다. 이 정도 되면 이미 나는 너무 마음이 편합니다. 상대에게 한 방 맞았다고 하더라도 역전은 될 수 없는 점수차이기 때문입니다. 23,24,25점을 연속으로 득점하면서 게임을 마무리했습니다. 이번 게임은 앞돌리기를 거의 놓치지 않고 득점한 것이 기분이 좋습니다. 결코 맞히기 쉽지 않은 중장거리에서의 얇은 듯한 두께였지만 정확히 두께를 맞히면서 득점을 했습니다.

그런데 상대방은 왜 갑자기 무기력해진 것일까요? 끝까지 쫒아오려는 근성을 보였다면 나도 마음이 편하지는 않았을텐데 게임을 시작할 때의 분위기와는 너무 다른 결과에 나 또한 허탈합니다. 사실 나의 경우 당구 게임에서 가장 기분 좋을 때는 승부때문에 두근거림을 느낄 때입니다. 평소 당구가 아니면 이런 경험을 할 기회가 없기 때문이죠. 마치 내가 20대로 돌아간 느낌이랄까요? 이런 두근거림은 처음 만나는 상대일수록 경험할 확률이 높아지고 근성있는 사람일수록 게임이 박빙일수록 확률이 높아집니다. 그런면에서 이번 게임은 조금 아쉬움이 있습니다. 긴장감이 처음부터 끝까지 이어질 때 단 한게임만 치더라도 만족도가 높거든요.

재미있는 뱅크샷 걸어치기 배치가 많이 있네요.

2017년 8월 국내 당구랭킹 1위 조재호 선수(38·서울시청)에게 “어떻게 하면 당신처럼 당구를 잘 칠 수 있느냐?”고 물었다.  
“모방하면 됩니다.”
“누구를 모방해요?”
“빗겨치기는 야스퍼스를 모방하고, 제각돌리기는 쿠드롱을 모방하고, 빈쿠션치기는 브롬달을 모방하면 됩니다.”
“말이 쉽지 그게 됩니까?”
“당연히 쉽지 않습니다. 그런데 어려워도 그 길밖에 없습니다. 내공이 한 번에 몇 단계 확 불어나는 비급은 없습니다. 모방이 첫 단계고 그다음은 익숙해질 때까지 연습하는 겁니다. 저는 제각돌리기를 연습하며 쿠드롱의 행동까지 따라 했습니다. 재능이 중요하지만 연습은 그것보다 더 중요합니다. ‘모방하고 연습하기!’ 이게 당구 잘 치는 비결입니다.”  

현재 세계 랭킹 16위인 조 선수는 14일 미국 뉴욕에서 열린 버호벤 오픈 마스터스에서 한국인으로는 처음 우승했다. 1980년대 세계 당구계를 주름잡던 고 이상천 선수를 기리는 대회로 세계캐롬당구연맹(UMB)과 미국당구연맹(USBA)이 공동 주관한 이 대회에서 조 선수는 8강전에서 세계 ‘4대 천왕’중 한 명이자 자신의 롤 모델 프레데릭 쿠드롱(벨기에·세계 랭킹 4위), 4강전에서 세계 랭킹 1위 다니엘 산체스(스페인), 결승에서 벨기에의 에디 레펜스를 꺽고 챔피언의 자리에 올랐다.

이미 3쿠션 세계 최정상급의 반열에 오른 한국 3쿠션 당구계의 랭킹 1위 조재호 선수지만 지금도 매일 8시간이 넘게 연습을 한다. 단 하루도 연습을 거르지 않는다. 14살부터 세계 최정상급 선수들을 모방하며 실력을 키운 그가 이제는 어느덧 후배 선수들과 동호인들이 따라하고 싶은 스트로크의 주인공이 됐다. 특히 ‘횡단샷’에 관한 한 조재호의 샷은 이미 명품이다.

320여 명이 출전한 3쿠션은 17일 8명의 강자만 살아남았다. 조재호, 최성원, 김행직, 허정한 등 이름만 대면 알만한 강자들이 8강에 이름을 올리지 못했다. 이변이다.

경기장을 나서는 조재호 선수 뒤로 묵직한 긴장감이 흐른다. 선수는 힘을 낭비하지 않는다. 딱 필요한 만큼만 힘을 가하고, 딱 필요한 만큼 굴러간 당구공이 목적구와 부딪힌다. 정교한 설계와 실행이 예술이다. 연습 없이는 불가능한 퍼포먼스다. 지든, 이기든 그렇다. 진정한 승부는 일상의 승부 너머에 있다.

질문: 빔프로젝터와 데스크탑을 무선으로 스크린 쉐어를 하고싶습니다. 제 데스크탑에서는 miracast지원이 되지 않기 때문에 이를 위해 어떤 장치들이 필요한 것인지 궁금합니다. 만약 miracast 어뎁터가 필요하다면 이를 제 데스크탑에 연결을 해야되는 것인지, 그렇다면 윈도우+K 키를 눌럿을 때 빔프로젝터를 연결할 수 있는 것인지 궁금합니다. 아니면 데스크탑에 무선랜카드를 사용하면 miracast장치를 사용하게 되는 것인지 궁금합니다. 빔프로젝터는 유선외에도 wifi 블루투스 모든 종류로 수신이 가능한 기종입니다.

Projector와 Windows 10 이 설치된 Desktop PC의 연결 관련해서 문의하셨으며, 아래를 참조해 보시기 바랍니다.

회의실에서 프로젝션해야 하는 경우 회의실의 케이블 커넥터 중 하나를 사용하여 PC를 연결하고 Windows 로고 키 + P를 누른 후 다음 네 가지 옵션 중 하나를 선택할 수 있습니다.

1. PC 화면만. PC에 모든 것이 표시됩니다. (무선 프로젝터에 연결된 경우 이 옵션은 연결 끊기로 바뀝니다.)
2. 복제. 두 화면에 모두 같은 내용이 표시됩니다.
3. 확장. 두 화면에 걸쳐 모든 항목이 표시되며, 두 화면 간에 항목을 끌어 이동할 수 있습니다.
4. 두 번째 화면만. 연결된 화면에 모든 항목이 표시됩니다. 다른 화면은 비어 있습니다.

케이블도 필요 없을 수 있습니다. PC와 프로젝터가 둘 다 Miracast를 지원하는 경우 Windows 로고 키 + P를 누르고 무선 디스플레이에 연결을 선택한 다음 프로젝터를 선택하면 설정이 완료됩니다.

PC에 Miracast가 있고 프로젝션할 수 있는지 여부를 잘 모르겠다면 Windows에서 시작 단추를 선택하고 연결(Connect)을 입력한 다음 결과 목록에서 연결(Connect)을 선택합니다.

해당 장치들의 연결 관련된 보다 더 자세한 사항은 해당 프로젝터의 판매사 또는 제조사에 직접 문의하실 수 있습니다.

HDCP는 컨텐츠를 암호화하는 것으로 디지털 출력이 무분별하게 복사되는 현상을 방지하는 것입니다.당사 제품은 HDCP를 지원하는 TV/모니터/프로젝터에서만 사용할 수 있습니다.(미라캐스트 접속 시)그러므로 HDCP가 호환이 되지 않는 TV(디스플레이 기기)에서는 사용 하실 수가 없습니다.단 DLNA, AirPlay를 사용하실 경우 HDCP와 관계없이 사용하실 수 있습니다.아래 화면은 HDCP 에러가 났을때 나오는 화면입니다.
